Davis Memorial Commission - Transfers - Destruction,","body":"disposal and possession of surplus property.\n\nA. The J.M. Davis Memorial Commission is authorized to sell or\n\ntransfer museum collection objects, which are duplicates or are\n\noutside of the scope of collections owned by it, to other state\n\nagencies or other museums with nonprofit status or to commercial\n\nentities or individuals unless the object is leased to or loaned to\n\nthe Commission or was purchased with appropriated funds by the\n\nCommission. Any transfer or sale shall be in full compliance with\n\nthe laws and regulations regarding the sale of such objects,\n\nincluding laws and regulations regarding the sale of firearms. The\n\nproceeds of any sale or transfer shall be deposited in the J.M.\n\nDavis Arms and Historical Museum Endowment Fund, or the J.M. Davis\n\nMemorial Commission Revolving Fund as determined by a vote of the\n\nCommission.\n\nB. The J.M. Davis Memorial Commission shall be exempt from the\n\nOklahoma Surplus Property Act for the purpose of disposing of museum\n\ncollection surplus property as described in subsection A of this\n\nsection and is authorized to destroy and dispose of museum\n\ncollection surplus property including objects owned by the\n\nCommission that have deteriorated past the point of usefulness or\n\nhave no resale value.\n\nC. No member of the J.M. Davis Memorial Commission, employee,\n\nor their families may obtain possession of museum collection surplus\n\nproperty from the Commission in person or by proxy unless obtained\n\nat a public sale under the provisions of this section.\n\nD. The J.M.
