Stat. tit. 53, § 53-47.2","heading":"Powers of the Oklahoma Historical Society","body":"The Oklahoma Historical Society, on behalf of the Will Rogers\n\nMemorial, may:\n\n1. Acquire, hold, own, receive, accept or contract for real or\n\npersonal property in the name of the Will Rogers Memorial;\n\n2. Act in cooperation with federal, state, or local government\n\nor any agency thereof or any other legal entity in constructing,\n\nbuilding, preserving, and maintaining the Will Rogers Memorial;\n\n3. Accept gifts, grants, contributions, or donations from\n\ngovernmental sources, or any person, firm, corporation, or municipal\n\nsubdivision of this state, or any group of persons for the purposes\n\nof constructing, maintaining, preserving, or displaying the\n\ncollection and historical artifacts of the Will Rogers Memorial to\n\nbe located at, or near, the town of Claremore, Oklahoma;\n\n4. Enter into contracts and agreements with third parties as\n\nthe Oklahoma Historical Society deems appropriate in the\n\nadministration of its duties, including the authority to contract\n\nfor the services of an electronic or online point-of-sale system;\n\nand\n\n5.
