The Oklahoma Historical Society is given the authority to\n\nmark the gravesites of deceased Governors of the State of Oklahoma\n\nwhich are located in Oklahoma with historical markers that readily\n\nidentify the gravesite.\n\nB. The Oklahoma Historical Society may purchase and hold\n\nproperty as may be necessary to erect the historical gravesite\n\nmarkers.\n\nC. The Oklahoma Historical Society shall have authority to:\n\n1. Designate the approximate location of the historical\n\ngravesite markers;\n\n2. Preserve the historical gravesite markers;\n\n3. Design the historical gravesite markers;\n\n4. Accept gifts and donations for the erection and preservation\n\nof the gravesite markers; and\n\n5. Encourage local participation in and contribution to the\n\nerection and preservation of the gravesite markers through the use\n\nof gifts, donations, and matching-fund agreements between local\n\nindividuals or groups and the Historical Society.
