Stat. tit. 54, § 54-1-603","heading":"Effect of Partner's Dissociation","body":"Effect of Partner's Dissociation. (a) If a partner's\n\ndissociation results in a dissolution and winding up of the\n\npartnership business, Article 8 of this act applies; otherwise,\n\nArticle 7 of this act applies.\n\n(b) Upon a partner's dissociation:\n\n(1) the partner's right to participate in the management and\n\nconduct of the partnership business terminates, except as otherwise\n\nprovided in Section 42 of this act;\n\n(2) the partner's duty of loyalty under paragraph (3) of\n\nsubsection (b) of Section 25 of this act terminates; and\n\n(3) the partner's duty of loyalty under paragraphs (1) and (2)\n\nof subsection (b) of Section 25 of this act and duty of care under\n\nsubsection (c) of Section 25 of this act continue only with regard\n\nto matters arising and events occurring before the partner's\n\ndissociation, unless the partner participates in winding up the\n\npartnership's business pursuant to Section 42 of this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 54"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os54.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0295f027fc6e761417f56057d38950b01c1d3481c71d4f9d942ee74a77630a4c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-1-602","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-1-701"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
