Stat. tit. 54, § 54-500-114A","heading":"Office and agent for service of process","body":"OFFICE AND AGENT FOR SERVICE OF PROCESS.\n\n(a) A limited partnership shall designate and continuously\n\nmaintain in this state:\n\n(1) an office, which need not be a place of its activity in\n\nthis state; and\n\n(2) an agent for service of process.\n\n(b) A foreign limited partnership shall designate and\n\ncontinuously maintain in this state an agent for service of process.\n\n(c) An agent for service of process of a limited partnership or\n\nforeign limited partnership must be an individual who is a resident\n\nof this state or a corporation, limited liability company, or\n\ngeneral or limited partnership including a limited liability\n\npartnership or a limited liability limited partnership, formed in or\n\nauthorized to do business in this state.
