Stat. tit. 54, § 54-500-116A","heading":"Resignation of agent for service of process","body":"RESIGNATION OF AGENT FOR SERVICE OF PROCESS.\n\n(a) In order to resign as an agent for service of process of a\n\nlimited partnership or foreign limited partnership, the agent must\n\ndeliver to the Secretary of State for filing a statement of\n\nresignation containing the name of the limited partnership or\n\nforeign limited partnership.\n\n(b) In the statement of resignation, the registered agent shall\n\ncertify that at least thirty (30) days before the date of the filing\n\nof the statement the registered agent sent due notice of the\n\nresignation by certified or registered mail to the limited\n\npartnership for which such registered agent was acting, at the\n\nprincipal office thereof, if known to the registered agent or, if\n\nnot, to the last known address of the attorney or other individual\n\nat whose request the registered agent was appointed for such limited\n\npartnership.\n\n(c) An agency for service of process is terminated on the 31st\n\nday after the Secretary of State files the statement of resignation.","path":["OK Code","Title 54"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os54.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"cb01b27719befbaf6c74b4f3472451f2af8660a71a3c8c5c9809a01120fd1633","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-115a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-117a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
