Stat. tit. 54, § 54-500-117A","heading":"Service of process","body":"SERVICE OF PROCESS.\n\n(a) An agent for service of process appointed by a limited\n\npartnership or foreign limited partnership is an agent of the\n\nlimited partnership or foreign limited partnership for service of\n\nany process, notice, or demand required or permitted by law to be\n\nserved upon the limited partnership or foreign limited partnership.\n\n(b) If a limited partnership or foreign limited partnership\n\ndoes not appoint or maintain an agent for service of process in this\n\nstate or the agent for service of process cannot with reasonable\n\ndiligence be found at the agent’s address, the Secretary of State is\n\nan agent of the limited partnership or foreign limited partnership\n\nupon whom process, notice, or demand may be served.
