Stat. tit. 54, § 54-500-207A","heading":"Correcting filed record","body":"CORRECTING FILED RECORD.\n\n(a) A limited partnership or foreign limited partnership may\n\ndeliver to the Secretary of State for filing a statement of\n\ncorrection to correct a record previously delivered by the limited\n\npartnership or foreign limited partnership to the Secretary of State\n\nand filed by the Secretary of State, if at the time of filing, the\n\nrecord contained false or erroneous information or was defectively\n\nsigned.\n\n(b) A statement of correction may not state a delayed effective\n\ndate and must:\n\n(1) describe the record to be corrected, including its filing\n\ndate, or attach a copy of the record as filed;\n\n(2) specify the incorrect information and the reason it is\n\nincorrect or the manner in which the signing was defective; and\n\n(3) correct the incorrect information or defective signature.\n\n(c) When filed by the Secretary of State, a statement of\n\ncorrection is effective retroactively as of the effective date of\n\nthe record the statement corrects, but the statement is effective\n\nwhen filed:\n\n(1) for the purposes of subsections (c) and (d) of Section 3 of\n\nthis act; and\n\n(2) as to persons relying on the uncorrected record and\n\nadversely affected by the correction.","path":["OK Code","Title 54"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os54.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0d99147787fcaefbb6c9444df44c7efe83fb1bcff074be0c9327fea9ee23841a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-206a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-208a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
