Stat. tit. 54, § 54-500-208A","heading":"Liability for false information in filed record","body":"LIABILITY FOR FALSE INFORMATION IN FILED RECORD.\n\n(a) If a record delivered to the Secretary of State for filing\n\nunder the Uniform Limited Partnership Act of 2010 and filed by the\n\nSecretary of State contains false information, a person that suffers\n\nloss by reliance on the information may recover damages for the loss\n\nfrom:\n\n(1) a person that signed the record, or caused another to sign\n\nit on the person’s behalf, and knew the information to be false at\n\nthe time the record was signed; and\n\n(2) a general partner that has notice that the information was\n\nfalse when the record was filed or has become false because of\n\nchanged circumstances, if the general partner has notice for a\n\nreasonably sufficient time before the information is relied upon to\n\nenable the general partner to effect an amendment under Section 20\n\nof this act, file a petition pursuant to Section 23 of this act, or\n\ndeliver to the Secretary of State for filing a statement of change\n\npursuant to Section 15 of this act or a statement of correction\n\npursuant to Section 25 of this act.\n\n(b) Signing a record authorized or required to be filed under\n\nthe Uniform Limited Partnership Act of 2010 constitutes an\n\naffirmation under the penalties of perjury that the facts stated in\n\nthe record are true.","path":["OK Code","Title 54"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os54.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6746659d9431485972eb54c358c000bf97307ae54258f9fd7b51a951da4df746","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-207a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-209a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
