Stat. tit. 54, § 54-500-901A","heading":"Governing law","body":"GOVERNING LAW.\n\n(a) The laws of the state or other jurisdiction under which a\n\nforeign limited partnership is organized govern relations among the\n\npartners of the foreign limited partnership and between the partners\n\nand the foreign limited partnership and the liability of partners as\n\npartners for an obligation of the foreign limited partnership.\n\n(b) A foreign limited partnership may not be denied a\n\ncertificate of authority by reason of any difference between the\n\nlaws of the jurisdiction under which the foreign limited partnership\n\nis organized and the laws of this state.\n\n(c) A certificate of authority does not authorize a foreign\n\nlimited partnership to engage in any business or exercise any power\n\nthat a limited partnership may not engage in or exercise in this\n\nstate.","path":["OK Code","Title 54"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os54.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"04c71e1e61113ea595a88582efbec0f3fbabe53a174911371551350d398f92ad","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-812a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-902a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
