Stat. tit. 54, § 54-500-905A","heading":"Noncomplying name of foreign limited partnership","body":"NONCOMPLYING NAME OF FOREIGN LIMITED PARTNERSHIP.\n\n(a) A foreign limited partnership whose name does not comply\n\nwith Section 8 of this act may not obtain a certificate of authority\n\nuntil it adopts, for the purpose of transacting business in this\n\nstate, a fictitious name that complies with Section 8 of this act.\n\nAfter obtaining a certificate of authority with a fictitious name, a\n\nforeign limited partnership shall transact business in this state\n\nunder that name.\n\n(b) If a foreign limited partnership authorized to transact\n\nbusiness in this state changes its name to one that does not comply\n\nwith Section 8 of this act, it may not thereafter transact business\n\nin this state until it complies with subsection (a) of this section\n\nand obtains an amended certificate of authority.","path":["OK Code","Title 54"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os54.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"407cf1f09369efe409054c56b4d0cb42757356ad4633726ff7e6dbeb0ad0fd22","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-904a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-54-54-500-906a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
