Stat. tit. 56, § 56-1012.4","heading":"Regulations and policies for CRT products and services","body":"The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall establish focused\n\nregulations and policies for CRT products and services. These\n\nfocused regulations and policies shall take into consideration the\n\ncustomized nature of CRT and the broad range of services necessary\n\nto meet the unique medical and functional needs of people with\n\ncomplex physical disabilities by:\n\n1. Designating specific HCPCS billing codes as CRT and, as\n\nneeded, creating new billing codes or modifiers for services and\n\nproducts covered for people with complex physical disabilities;\n\n2. Establishing specific supplier standards for companies or\n\nentities that provide CRT and restricting the provision of CRT to\n\nonly qualified CRT suppliers that meet such standards as defined in\n\nSection 3 of this act;\n\n3. Requiring complex-needs patients receiving a complex\n\nrehabilitation manual wheelchair, power wheelchair, or seating\n\ncomponent to be evaluated by:\n\na. a qualified health care professional as defined in\n\nSection 3 of this act, and\n\nb. a qualified complex rehabilitation technology\n\nprofessional as defined in Section 3 of this act;\n\n4. Maintaining payment policies and rates for complex\n\nrehabilitation technology to ensure payment amounts are adequate to\n\nprovide people with complex physical disabilities with access to\n\nsuch items. Such policies and rates shall take into account the\n\nsignificant resources, infrastructure, and staff needed to\n\nappropriately provide CRT to meet the unique needs of complex-needs\n\npatients;\n\n5. Exempting the HCPCS billing codes defined in Section 3 of\n\nthis act from inclusion in any bidding, selective contracting, or\n\nsimilar such initiative, if the specialty provider service,\n\nspecialized equipment or supply can only be obtained from a sole\n\nsource;\n\n6. Requiring that Managed Care Medicaid plans adopt the\n\nregulations and policies outlined in this act and contract with any\n\nwilling, qualified CRT supplier; and\n\n7.
