Stat. tit. 56, § 56-122","heading":"Resolution of county commissioners - Appraisement","body":"Before any such sale or conveyance shall be made, the board of\n\ncounty commissioners, in regular or special session, shall adopt a\n\nresolution declaring that said real estate is not needed for\n\nindigent care facility purposes, or is unsuitable or inconvenient\n\nfor such purpose, or that other or more suitable or convenient real\n\nproperty within the county is obtainable at a fair and reasonable\n\nvalue. The resolution shall be published with other proceedings of\n\nthe board, and a copy of the resolution shall be certified by the\n\ncounty clerk to the judge of the district court of such county. The\n\njudge shall determine whether such sale is in the best interest of\n\nthe county. The judge shall order and direct the board to sell the\n\nreal estate, as hereinafter provided, and he or she shall appoint\n\nthree disinterested freeholders of the county to appraise the real\n\nestate.
