Stat. tit. 56, § 56-127","heading":"Authorization to use or lease realty held for indigent","body":"care facilities - Sales not restricted.\n\nThe board of county commissioners of any county in this state is\n\nhereby authorized and empowered to hold, own, or use for any other\n\nlawful county purpose, or lease for any other lawful purpose, any\n\nreal estate deeded to or held by such county for the purpose of\n\ncounty indigent care facilities, when, in the opinion of the board\n\nof county commissioners, such real estate is not needed, is\n\nunsuitable, or inconvenient for the purpose of an indigent care\n\nfacility; provided that nothing contained in this section shall\n\nprevent the said county from selling the said property as provided\n\nby law, and the power to hold, own, or use said property for any\n\nlawful county purpose, or lease said property for any lawful\n\npurpose, shall be in addition to the power to sell said property as\n\nprovided in Sections 121 through 126 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 56"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os56.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"34fe575309e6f7b11c8ac88d3cda4e9b960b4402d6a57cf02a5324a5ab50d68c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-126","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-128"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
