Stat. tit. 56, § 56-161","heading":"Definitions","body":"(a) When used herein, the term \"State Department\" shall mean the\n\nState Department of Public Welfare;\n\n(b) The term \"Commission\" shall mean the Oklahoma Public Welfare\n\nCommission;\n\n(c) The term \"county board\" shall mean the county board of\n\npublic welfare;\n\n(d) The term \"Director\" shall mean the Director of Public\n\nWelfare;\n\n(e) The term \"applicant\" shall mean a person who has applied for\n\nassistance under this act;\n\n(f) The term \"recipient\" shall mean any person who is receiving\n\nassistance under the terms of this act;\n\n(g) The term \"assistance\" shall mean money payments to, medical\n\ncare in behalf of, or any other kind of benefit to or for recipients\n\nwho receive aid under the provisions of this act.\n\n(h) The singular shall include the plural and the masculine\n\nshall include the feminine;\n\n(i) The term \"county department\" shall mean the county board of\n\npublic welfare, a county director of public welfare and such other\n\npersonnel as may be necessary for the efficient performance of the\n\nduties of the county department;\n\n(j) The term \"Department\" shall mean the State Department of\n\nPublic Welfare and the county department of public welfare.\n\nAdded by State Question No. 226, Initiative Petition No. 155, § 1,\n\nadopted July 7, 1936.
