Stat. tit. 56, § 56-167.1","heading":"Request for financial records - Consent","body":"\n\nThe Department of Human Services, with the written consent of\n\nthe client, may request a copy of the financial records or any other\n\nrecords specified in said written consent from a financial\n\ninstitution or other agency regulated by federal or state law. The\n\nrequest shall be for the purpose of investigating the eligibility of\n\nthe client for assistance or service from the Department. Said\n\nfinancial institution or agency shall furnish said records at no\n\ncost to the client or the Department.
