Stat. tit. 56, § 56-211","heading":"Jurisdiction of State Budget Director - Director of Old-","body":"Age and Survivors Insurance - Other personnel.\n\nThe State Budget Director in the Executive Department shall have\n\njurisdiction over all matters pertaining to the accounting,\n\nreporting and collection of amounts due from state agencies,\n\npursuant to the terms of this act and Title 2 of the Federal Social\n\nSecurity Act (Public Law 734 (HR 6000) - 81st Congress), as\n\nauthorized by Title 56, Chapter 7, Oklahoma Session Laws 1949, and\n\npursuant to the Federal-State agreement entered into under Section\n\n218 of the Federal Social Security Act as amended (providing for\n\ncoverage through Federal-State agreements), holding the state\n\nresponsible for all aspects of conformance to the terms of the\n\ncoverage agreement.\n\nThe State Budget Director, at the direction of the Governor,\n\nshall employ and fix the duties and compensation of a Director of\n\nOld-Age and Survivors Insurance and shall employ and fix the duties\n\nand compensation of such other personnel as he deems necessary to\n\nassist him in performing the duties and functions in connection with\n\nthe administration of the Old-Age and Survivors Insurance system as\n\nit pertains to state employees in the coverage group designated by\n\nlaw as the \"State of Oklahoma\".","path":["OK Code","Title 56"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os56.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b2a94e733ddf247e3c8e41ebde9002516c25ffee87064d22ea1c3dbe63bc17b0","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-205","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-212"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
