Stat. tit. 56, § 56-230.60","heading":"Disclosure of persons responsible for child support as","body":"precondition to TANF benefits.\n\nA. Except as otherwise provided in this section, any applicant\n\nwho makes application with the Department of Human Services for\n\nbenefits under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)\n\nprogram, in order to be eligible for such assistance, shall provide\n\nthe name of the person or persons alleged to be legally responsible\n\nfor the support of a child, and if known, the address and employer\n\nof the person or persons alleged to be legally responsible for the\n\nsupport of such child prior to receipt of any such assistance.\n\nB. 1. If the specific person or persons legally responsible\n\nfor the support of the child are unknown, the applicant for the TANF\n\nprogram shall submit with the application a list of names of persons\n\nalleged to be responsible for the support of the child to the\n\nDepartment of Human Services.\n\n2. If the applicant does not provide the Department with the\n\nidentity of the person or persons alleged to be legally responsible\n\nfor the support of the child, the applicant shall be ineligible to\n\ncontinue to receive such assistance unless the Department determines\n\nthat the applicant or recipient or a child of the applicant or\n\nrecipient would more likely than not be subject to abuse for\n\nidentifying the person or persons alleged to be responsible for the\n\nsupport of the child.\n\n3. The Commission shall promulgate rules which will standardize\n\nthe decision process for determining eligibility pursuant to this\n\nparagraph.\n\nC.
