The Department of Human Services shall, as funds become\n\navailable, work with local communities to establish a statewide\n\nsystem of child care resource and referral centers.\n\nB. The child care resource and referral centers shall be\n\nresponsible for:\n\n1. Providing consumer education;\n\n2. Maintaining child care databases and linking working\n\nfamilies to relevant services available in their communities;\n\n3. Developing child care supply and demand reports;\n\n4. Fostering partnerships between Head Start programs,\n\nchurches, schools, government and nonprofit agencies;\n\n5. Providing information and technical assistance to\n\nindividuals and groups wishing to develop or expand child care\n\nservices;\n\n6. Coordinating training programs and informing child care\n\nproviders about available training; and\n\n7.
