Stat. tit. 56, § 56-237.1","heading":"Agreements between district attorneys and the Department","body":"for enforcement and collection of child support obligations.\n\nDistrict attorneys may enter into agreements with the Department\n\nof Human Services for the enforcement and collection of child\n\nsupport obligations under Part D of Title IV of the federal Social\n\nSecurity Act, 42 U.S.C.A. Section 651 et seq. Such agreements may\n\ninclude provisions for the payment of federal or state funds to the\n\ndistrict attorney for the payment of any expense incurred in the\n\noperation of the district attorney's office for the purposes of such\n\nagreement. All funds, except payroll funds, shall be transmitted to\n\nthe county treasurer and deposited in a special fund to be known as\n\nthe \"District Attorney Child Support Contract Fund\" and be disbursed\n\nin accordance with accounting procedures prescribed by the State\n\nAuditor and Inspector. Such special funds shall not be a part of\n\nthe general fund of the county and shall not be subject to\n\nappropriation by the county excise board.
