Stat. tit. 56, § 56-240.22G","heading":"Financial institution data match reporting system -","body":"Levy of match accounts.\n\nUpon matching a delinquent obligor with a financial account, the\n\nDivision shall automatically issue a levy for each match account\n\nunless after reviewing each data match, it is found that a levy\n\nwould be inappropriate under the particular circumstances, and there\n\nis full and timely compliance with a court-ordered payment plan.\n\n1. Such levy shall be valid for sixty (60) days. Upon receipt\n\nof any levy, the financial institution shall:\n\na. immediately freeze all accounts of the obligor, up to\n\nthe amount of the lien,\n\nb. hold funds in the accounts for twenty-one (21) days\n\nbefore remitting payment to the Division, and\n\nc. notify the Division if an account has been closed.\n\n2. Except as provided in Section 240.22E of this title, the\n\nfinancial institution shall not disclose information to the\n\ndepositor or account holder. Within three (3) working days after\n\nlevy is sent to the financial institution, the Division shall send\n\nthe levy to the obligor, with a notice that the obligor has ten (10)\n\ndays to request an administrative review of the levy.\n\n3. Twenty-one (21) days after receiving the levy, the financial\n\ninstitution shall remit funds, up to the amount of the lien, to the\n\nDivision, unless the Division has notified the institution that the\n\nlevy has been released in part or in full.
