The Department of Human Services shall conduct a feasibility\n\nstudy on the potential establishment of a unified and streamlined\n\neligibility and enrollment system for public assistance programs\n\nadministered by the state that would promote efficiency,\n\naccessibility, and coordination of services across programs\n\nincluding, but not limited to:\n\n1. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP);\n\n2. The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program;\n\n3. Child care subsidies;\n\n4. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP);\n\n5. The state Medicaid program; and\n\n6. The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.\n\nB. As part of the feasibility study, the Department shall issue\n\na request for information on a unified and streamlined eligibility\n\nand enrollment system to gather information about potential vendors\n\nand their capabilities and to ascertain an estimate of the initial\n\nand ongoing costs of the system.\n\nC. The Department of Human Services, the Oklahoma Health Care\n\nAuthority, and the State Department of Health shall coordinate to\n\nconduct the feasibility study.\n\nD. At the conclusion of the feasibility study, the Department\n\nof Human Services shall electronically submit a report to the\n\nPresident Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma State Senate, the Speaker of\n\nthe Oklahoma House of Representatives, and the Governor that\n\nsummarizes the findings of the feasibility study including, but not\n\nlimited to, information obtained through the request for information\n\nrequired under subsection B of this section and cost estimates of\n\nthe unified and streamlined eligibility and enrollment system.","path":["OK Code","Title 56"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os56.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"500246a77a5b67b87f4128a7be0b954633ed8243feae7ce47503ff1abf44233d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-347","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-4000"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
