The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall establish a\n\nMedicaid Delivery System Quality Advisory Committee for the purpose\n\nof performing the duties specified in subsection B of this section.\n\nB. The Committee shall have the power and duty to make\n\nrecommendations to the Administrator of the Oklahoma Health Care\n\nAuthority and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board on quality\n\nmeasures used by contracted entities in the capitated care delivery\n\nmodel of the state Medicaid program.\n\nC. 1. The Committee shall be comprised of members appointed by\n\nthe Administrator of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. Members\n\nshall serve at the pleasure of the Administrator.\n\n2. A majority of the members shall be providers participating\n\nin the capitated care delivery model of the state Medicaid program,\n\nand such providers may include members of the Advisory Committee on\n\nMedical Care for Public Assistance Recipients. Other members shall\n\ninclude, but not be limited to, representatives of hospitals and\n\nintegrated health systems, other members of the health care\n\ncommunity, and members of the academic community having subject-\n\nmatter expertise in the field of health care or subfields of health\n\ncare, or other applicable fields including, but not limited to,\n\nstatistics, economics or public policy.\n\n3. The Committee shall select from among its membership a chair\n\nand vice chair.\n\nD. 1. The Committee may meet as often as may be required in\n\norder to perform the duties imposed on it.\n\n2. A quorum of the Committee shall be required to approve any\n\nfinal recommendations of the Committee. A majority of the members\n\nof the Committee shall constitute a quorum.\n\n3. Meetings of the Committee shall be subject to the Oklahoma\n\nOpen Meeting Act.\n\nE. Members of the Committee shall receive no compensation or\n\ntravel reimbursement.\n\nF. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall provide staff\n\nsupport to the Committee. To the extent allowed under federal or\n\nstate law, rules or regulations, the Authority, the State Department\n\nof Health, the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse\n\nServices and the Department of Human Services shall as requested\n\nprovide technical expertise, statistical information, and any other\n\ninformation deemed necessary by the chair of the Committee to\n\nperform the duties imposed on it.","path":["OK Code","Title 56"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os56.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ecdb34656943cd32f73cbcd53b5fb222e47e29f52b034d19306463b733b608b5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-4002.12b","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-4002.14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
