It is the purpose and policy of the Oklahoma Adult Companion\n\nHome Certification Act to ensure maintenance of minimum standards\n\nfor the care and protection of adults with intellectual or\n\ndevelopmental disabilities, and to encourage and assist adult\n\ncompanion homes in achieving maximum standards.\n\nB. In order to provide care for adults with intellectual or\n\ndevelopmental disabilities in adult companion homes, a certificate\n\nshall be obtained from the Department of Human Services.
