Stat. tit. 56, § 56-702","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Volunteer Service Credit Bank Program Act:\n\n1. \"Recipient\" means a person eligible to receive services\n\nwhether as a full participant or beneficiary;\n\n2. \"Full participant\" means a person who is registered by a\n\nsponsoring organization to provide services and who receives service\n\ncredits;\n\n3. \"Beneficiary\" means a person who acts solely as a recipient\n\nand who is made eligible through the transfer of service credits\n\nfrom a donor or sponsor;\n\n4. \"Volunteer\" means a person who is registered by a sponsoring\n\norganization to perform designated tasks for full participants and\n\nbeneficiaries;\n\n5. \"Donor\" means a volunteer registered with a sponsoring\n\norganization whose earned service credits will be transferred to a\n\nrecipient or beneficiary;\n\n6. \"Sponsor\" means an organization or agency which provides\n\nrecruitment, referral, instructional facilities and support for the\n\nProgram;\n\n7. \"Service credit\" means the unit of exchange upon which the\n\nProgram operates;\n\n8. \"Eligible tasks\" means those designated activities which,\n\nwhen performed by a volunteer for a recipient, will result in the\n\nearning and the use of service credits;\n\n9. \"Matching process\" means the administrative steps taken to\n\nbring an appropriate volunteer into contact with a recipient who has\n\nrequested services;\n\n10. \"Umbrella Agency\" means the Department of Human Services,\n\nAging Services Division which will coordinate the statewide\n\nVolunteer Service Credit Bank Program, providing policy and\n\nprocedures, technical assistance and computerization of records;\n\n11. \"Volunteer coordinator\" means a person responsible for\n\ncoordinating a sponsor's program activities;\n\n12. \"Respite care\" means the temporary relief provided to a\n\ncaregiver who has twenty-four-hour responsibility for a homebound\n\nperson living either with the caregiver or separately; and\n\n13. \"Volunteer service credit bank\" means the Program designed\n\nby the Division to provide service credits to qualified volunteers\n\nwho provide in-home services.","path":["OK Code","Title 56"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os56.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5dcd5830be8cbb94dfd4ca0b25ff367e7e2643c8e54f019e8bc43142a6b37308","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-701","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-56-56-703"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
