Stat. tit. 57, § 57-22","heading":"Receiving compensation for providing goods or services for","body":"benefit of inmate – Penalties.\n\nA. Except as otherwise provided in this section, any detention\n\nofficer, deputy sheriff, or other person employed as jail operations\n\nstaff by a county, city, or other entity that operates a jail who\n\nreceives compensation from any person other than the sheriff or jail\n\nadministrator for providing goods, tobacco products, or services for\n\nthe benefit of an inmate, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor if the compensation is an amount of less than Five\n\nHundred Dollars ($500.00), punishable by up to six (6) months in the\n\ncounty jail, or a fine of not more than One Thousand Dollars\n\n($1,000.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment and shall be\n\nguilty of a Class D1 felony offense if the compensation is an amount\n\nof Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or more, punishable by\n\nimprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of Section\n\n20N of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or a fine of not more than\n\nFive Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or by both such fine and\n\nimprisonment.\n\nB.
