Stat. tit. 57, § 57-349.1","heading":"Notification to sending state as to need for retaking or","body":"reincarceration - Hearing - Reports - Detention prior to hearing.\n\nWhere supervision of a parolee or probationer is being\n\nadministered pursuant to the Interstate Compact for the Supervision\n\nof Parolees and Probationers, appropriate judicial or administrative\n\nauthorities in this state shall notify the Compact Administrator of\n\nthe sending state whenever, in their view, consideration should be\n\ngiven to retaking or reincarceration for a parole or probation\n\nviolation. Prior to the giving of any such notification, a hearing\n\nshall be held in accordance with this act within a reasonable time,\n\nunless such hearing is waived by the parolee or probationer. The\n\nappropriate officer or officers of this state shall, as soon as\n\npracticable following termination of any such hearing, report to the\n\nsending state, furnish a copy of the hearing record and make\n\nrecommendations regarding the disposition to be made of the parolee\n\nor probationer by the sending state. Pending any proceeding\n\npursuant to this section, the appropriate officers of this state may\n\ntake custody of and detain the parolee or probationer involved for a\n\nperiod not to exceed fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing and, if\n\nit appears to the hearing officer or officers that retaking or\n\nreincarceration is likely to follow, for such reasonable period\n\nafter the hearing or waiver as may be necessary to arrange for the\n\nretaking or reincarceration.","path":["OK Code","Title 57"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os57.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e11ee2e567f134a0d7ab10f9ea30a9b7dc1b4d22a66f26ed01b3dd5c86acfc76","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-57-57-349","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-57-57-349.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
