The Department of Corrections is authorized to repair or\n\nreplace an employee's personal property if said personal property is\n\ndamaged, destroyed or stolen by an offender while the employee is\n\nengaged in the performance of his duties. Any personal property\n\nrepaired or replaced shall be comparable in kind, quality and cost.\n\nReimbursement shall not duplicate insurance coverage carried by the\n\nemployee in his individual capacity.\n\nB.
