The Department of Human Services, through the State\n\nDepartment of Rehabilitation Services, and the State Board of Career\n\nand Technology Education shall implement policies and programs\n\nconsistent with available funds and applicable federal statutes,\n\nrules and regulations, to provide appropriate education,\n\nrehabilitation and vocational-technical training for persons in\n\ncustody of the Department of Corrections who are candidates for work\n\nrelease programs, parole or release. It is the intent of the\n\nOklahoma Legislature that such programs will be available so that\n\nsaid education and training will reasonably be expected to be\n\ncompleted before parole, release or work release begins.\n\nB. The Department of Corrections shall work cooperatively with\n\nthe State Department of Rehabilitation Services and the State Board\n\nof Career and Technology Education to provide suitable candidates to\n\nallow reasonable cost effectiveness in the operation of said\n\neducation, rehabilitation and training programs.
