Stat. tit. 57, § 57-55","heading":"Penalty for sheriff's neglect","body":"If the sheriff or jailer in charge of any county jail shall\n\nneglect or refuse to comply with any of the rules and regulations\n\nestablished by the district judge, or pursuant to the Oklahoma Jail\n\nStandards Act, or to any other duties required pursuant to Sections\n\n41 through 64 of this title, the sheriff or jailer in charge shall,\n\non conviction thereof, by indictment for each case of such failure\n\nor neglect of duty as aforesaid, pay into the county treasury of the\n\nproper county, for the use of such county, a fine not less than Ten\n\nDollars ($10.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) to be\n\nassessed by the district court of the proper district.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 4593.
