Any person who becomes subject to the provisions of the Sex\n\nOffenders Registration Act on or after November 1, 1989, shall\n\nregister, in person, as follows:\n\n1. With the Department of Corrections within three (3) business\n\ndays of being convicted or receiving a suspended sentence or any\n\nprobationary term, including a deferred sentence imposed in\n\nviolation of subsection G of Section 991c of Title 22 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes, if the person is not incarcerated, or not less\n\nthan three (3) business days prior to the release of the person from\n\na correctional institution, except as provided in subsection B of\n\nthis section;\n\n2. With the local law enforcement authority having jurisdiction\n\nin the area where the person resides or intends to reside for seven\n\n(7) consecutive days or fourteen (14) days in a sixty-day period, or\n\nlonger, calculated beginning with the first day. The registration\n\nis required within three (3) days after entering the jurisdiction of\n\nthe law enforcement authority; and\n\n3. With the Department of Corrections and the local law\n\nenforcement authority no less than three (3) business days prior to\n\nabandoning or moving from the address of the previous registration,\n\nor within three (3) business days of changing or terminating\n\nemployment, or changing enrollment status as a student.\n\nFor purposes of this section, \"local law enforcement authority\"\n\nmeans:\n\na. the municipal police department, if the person resides\n\nor intends to reside or stay within the jurisdiction\n\nof any municipality of this state, or\n\nb. the county sheriff, if the person resides or intends\n\nto reside or stay at any place outside the\n\njurisdiction of any municipality within this state,\n\nand\n\nc. the police or security department of any institution\n\nof higher learning within this state if the person:\n\n(1) enrolls as a full-time or part-time student,\n\n(2) is a full-time or part-time employee at an\n\ninstitution of higher learning, or\n\n(3) resides or intends to reside or stay on any\n\nproperty owned or controlled by the institution\n\nof higher learning.\n\nB. Any person who has been convicted of an offense or received\n\na deferred judgment for an offense in another jurisdiction, which\n\noffense if committed or attempted in this state, would have been\n\npunishable as one or more of the offenses listed in Section 582 of\n\nthis title and who enters this state on or after November 1, 1989,\n\nshall register, in person, as follows:\n\n1. With the Department of Corrections when the person enters\n\nand intends to be in the state for any purpose for five (5)\n\nconsecutive days or longer, calculated beginning with the first day,\n\nhas any type of full-time or part-time employment, with or without\n\ncompensation for more than five (5) cumulative days in any sixty-day\n\nperiod, or is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student within\n\nthis state. Such registration is required within two (2) days after\n\nentering the state;\n\n2. With the local law enforcement authority having jurisdiction\n\nin the area where the person intends to reside or to stay for five\nor part-time employment, with or without\n\ncompensation for more than five (5) cumulative days in any sixty-day\n\nperiod, or is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student within\n\nthis state. Such registration is required within two (2) days after\n\nentering the state;\n\n2. With the local law enforcement authority having jurisdiction\n\nin the area where the person intends to reside or to stay for five\n\n(5) consecutive days or longer, calculated beginning with the first\n\nday, has any type of full-time or part-time employment, with or\n\nwithout compensation for more than five (5) cumulative days in any\n\nsixty-day period, or is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student\n\nwithin this state. The registration is required with local law\n\nenforcement within two (2) days after entering the jurisdiction of\n\nthe law enforcement authority; and\n\n3. With the Department of Corrections and the local law\n\nenforcement authority no less than three (3) business days prior to\n\nabandoning or moving from the address of the previous registration,\n\nor within three (3) business days of changing or terminating\n\nemployment, or changing enrollment status as a student.\n\nUpon registering a person who has been convicted of an offense\n\nor received a deferred judgment for an offense in another\n\njurisdiction, which offense, if committed or attempted in this\n\nstate, would have been punishable as one or more of the offenses\n\nlisted in Section 582 of this title, the local law enforcement\n\nauthority shall forward the registration information to the sex\n\noffender level assignment committee of the Department of\n\nCorrections.\n\nC. When a person has been convicted or received probation\n\nwithin the State of Oklahoma, the person shall be required to\n\nregister with the Department of Corrections as follows:\n\n1. For a total period of fifteen (15) years, if the level\n\nassignment of the person is one;\n\n2. For a total period of twenty-five (25) years, if the level\n\nassignment of the person is two; and\n\n3. For life, if the level assignment of the person is three or\n\nthe person is classified as a habitual or aggravated sex offender.\n\nThe registration period shall begin from the date of the completion\n\nof the sentence, and shall not conclude until the offender has been\n\nin compliance for the total amount of time required by this act.\n\nFor level one and level two offenders, if the offender ceases to\n\nproperly register during the fifteen-year or twenty-five-year\n\nperiods, the Department of Corrections shall retain the name of the\n\noffender on the registry until the offender has fully complied with\n\nthe requirements of this act for the total period of time required.\n\nThe Department of Corrections shall maintain records necessary to\n\ndetermine whether the offender has registered for the total period\n\nof time required. The information received pursuant to the\n\nregistration with the Department of Corrections required by this\n\nsection shall be maintained by the Department of Corrections for at\n\nleast ten (10) years from the date that the offender completed the\n\nobligations under this act.\n\nD. When a person has been convicted or received probation\n\nwithin the State of Oklahoma, the person shall be required to\n\nregister with the local law enforcement authority as follows:\n\n1. For a total period of fifteen (15) years, if the level of\n\nthe person is one;\n\n2. For a total period of twenty-five (25) years, if the level\n\nof the person is two; and\n\n3. For life, if the level of the person is three or the person\n\nhas been classified as a habitual or aggravated sex offender.\n\nThe registration period shall begin from the date of completion of\n\nthe sentence and shall not conclude until the offender has been in\n\ncompliance for the total amount of time required by this act. The\n\ninformation received pursuant to the registration with the local law\n\nenforcement authority required by this section shall be maintained\ns been classified as a habitual or aggravated sex offender.\n\nThe registration period shall begin from the date of completion of\n\nthe sentence and shall not conclude until the offender has been in\n\ncompliance for the total amount of time required by this act. The\n\ninformation received pursuant to the registration with the local law\n\nenforcement authority required by this section shall be maintained\n\nby such authority for at least ten (10) years from the date that the\n\noffender completed the obligations under this act.\n\nE. Any person assigned a level of one who has been registered\n\nfor a period of ten (10) years and who has not been arrested or\n\nconvicted for any felony or misdemeanor offense since being released\n\nfrom confinement, may petition the district court in the\n\njurisdiction where the person resides for the purpose of removing\n\nthe level designation and allowing the person to no longer be\n\nsubject to the registration requirements of the Sex Offenders\n\nRegistration Act.\n\nF. When registering an offender as provided in this section the\n\nDepartment of Corrections or the local law enforcement agency having\n\njurisdiction shall:\n\n1. Inform the offender of the duty to register and obtain the\n\ninformation required for registration as described in this section;\n\n2. Inform the offender that if the offender changes address,\n\nthe offender shall appear in person and give notice of the move and\n\nthe new address to the Department of Corrections and to the local\n\nlaw enforcement authority in the location in which the offender\n\npreviously resided no later than three (3) days before the offender\n\nestablishes residence or is temporarily domiciled at the new\n\naddress;\n\n3. Inform the offender that if the offender changes address to\n\nanother state, the offender shall appear in person and give notice\n\nof the move and shall register the new address with the Department\n\nof Corrections and with a designated law enforcement agency in the\n\nnew state not later than ten (10) days before the offender\n\nestablishes residency or is temporarily domiciled in the new state,\n\nif the new state has a registration requirement;\n\n4. Inform the offender that if the offender participates in any\n\nfull-time employment, with or without compensation, and changes or\n\nterminates such employment, the offender shall appear in person and\n\ngive notice of the change or termination of employment to the\n\nDepartment of Corrections and to the local law enforcement authority\n\nin the location where the offender was employed within three (3)\n\ndays of such change or termination of employment;\n\n5. Inform the offender that if the offender participates in any\n\nfull-time or part-time employment, in another state, with or without\n\ncompensation for more than fourteen (14) cumulative days in any\n\nsixty-day period or an aggregate period exceeding thirty (30) days\n\nin a calendar year, then the offender has a duty to register as a\n\nsex offender in that state;\n\n6. Inform the offender that if the offender enrolls in any type\n\nof school in another state as a full-time or part-time student then\n\nthe offender has a duty to register as a sex offender in that state;\n\n7. Inform the offender that if the offender enrolls in any\n\nschool within this state as a full-time or part-time student, then\n\nthe offender has a duty to register as a sex offender with the\n\nDepartment of Corrections and the local law enforcement authority;\n\n8. Inform the offender that if the offender participates in any\n\nfull-time or part-time employment at any school, with or without\n\ncompensation, or participates in any vocational course or occupation\n\nat any school in this state, then the offender has a duty to appear\n\nin person and notify the Department of Corrections and the local law\n\nenforcement authority of such employment or participation at least\n\nthree (3) days before commencing or upon terminating such employment\n\nor participation;\nent at any school, with or without\n\ncompensation, or participates in any vocational course or occupation\n\nat any school in this state, then the offender has a duty to appear\n\nin person and notify the Department of Corrections and the local law\n\nenforcement authority of such employment or participation at least\n\nthree (3) days before commencing or upon terminating such employment\n\nor participation;\n\n9. Inform the offender that if the offender graduates,\n\ntransfers, drops, terminates or otherwise changes enrollment or\n\nemployment at any school in this state, then the offender shall\n\nappear in person and notify the Department of Corrections and the\n\nlocal law enforcement authority of such change in enrollment or\n\nemployment within three (3) days of the change; and\n\n10. Require the offender to read and sign a form stating that\n\nthe duty of the person to register under the Sex Offenders\n\nRegistration Act has been explained.\n\nG. For the purpose of this section, the \"date of the completion\n\nof the sentence\" means the day an offender completes all\n\nincarceration, probation and parole pertaining to the sentence.\n\nH. Any person who resides in another state and who has been\n\nconvicted of an offense or received a deferred judgment for an\n\noffense in this state, or in another jurisdiction, which offense if\n\ncommitted or attempted in this state would have been punishable as\n\none or more of the offenses listed in Section 582 of this title, and\n\nwho is the spouse of a person living in this state shall be\n\nregistered as follows:\n\n1. With the Department of Corrections when the person enters\n\nand intends to be in the state for any purpose for five (5)\n\nconsecutive days or longer, calculated beginning with the first day\n\nor an aggregate period of five (5) days or longer in a calendar\n\nyear. Such registration is required within two (2) days after\n\nentering the state; and\n\n2. With the local law enforcement authority having jurisdiction\n\nin the area where the person intends to reside or to stay within\n\nthis state for two (2) consecutive days or longer, calculated\n\nbeginning with the first day. The registration is required with\n\nlocal law enforcement within two (2) days after entering the\n\njurisdiction of the law enforcement authority.\n\nI.
