Any person required to register pursuant to the provisions\n\nof the Sex Offenders Registration Act who violates any provision of\n\nsaid act shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a Class B5 felony\n\noffense. Any person convicted of a violation of this section shall\n\nbe punished by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of\n\nCorrections for not more than five (5) years, a fine not to exceed\n\nFive Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or both such fine and\n\nimprisonment.\n\nB.
