The municipal police department, if the person resides or\n\nintends to reside or stay within the jurisdiction of any\n\nmunicipality of this state; or\n\n2. The county sheriff, if the person resides or intends to\n\nreside or stay at any place outside the jurisdiction of any\n\nmunicipality within this state; and\n\n3.
