Any person who becomes subject to the provisions of the Mary\n\nRippy Violent Crime Offenders Registration Act, shall be registered\n\nas follows:\n\n1. With the Department of Corrections within three (3) business\n\ndays after being convicted or receiving a deferred or suspended\n\nsentence, if the person is not incarcerated, or within three (3)\n\nbusiness days after release of the person from a correctional\n\ninstitution, including parole release, except as provided in\n\nsubsection B of this section;\n\n2. With the local law enforcement authority having jurisdiction\n\nin the area where the person resides or intends to reside for more\n\nthan seven (7) days. The registration is required within three (3)\n\ndays after entering the jurisdiction of the law enforcement\n\nauthority; and\n\n3. With the Department of Corrections and the local law\n\nenforcement authority no less than three (3) business days prior to\n\nabandoning or moving from the address of the previous registration.\n\nB. Any person who enters this state and is subject to the\n\nprovisions of this act shall be registered as follows:\n\n1. With the Department of Corrections when the person enters\n\nand intends to be in the state for any purpose for thirty (30) days\n\nor longer, has any type of full-time or part-time employment, with\n\nor without compensation for more than fourteen (14) days or an\n\naggregate period exceeding thirty (30) days within a calendar year,\n\nor is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student within this\n\nstate. Such registration is required within three (3) days after\n\nentering the state;\n\n2. With the local law enforcement authority having jurisdiction\n\nin the area where the person intends to reside or to stay for more\n\nthan seven (7) days, has any type of full-time or part-time\n\nemployment, with or without compensation for more than fourteen (14)\n\ndays or an aggregate period exceeding thirty (30) days within a\n\ncalendar year, or is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student\n\nwithin this state. The registration is required with local law\n\nenforcement within three (3) days after entering the jurisdiction of\n\nthe local law enforcement authority; and\n\n3. With the Department of Corrections and the local law\n\nenforcement authority no less than three (3) business days prior to\n\nabandoning or moving from the address of the previous registration.\n\nC. 1. The person shall be continuously registered during the\n\nterm of the sentence, as provided in subsections A and B of this\n\nsection, and for a period of ten (10) years after the date of the\n\ncompletion of the sentence.\n\n2. Information received pursuant to the registration shall be\n\nmaintained by the Department of Corrections for at least ten (10)\n\nyears from the date of the completion of the offender’s sentence.\n\n3. The information received pursuant to the registration shall\n\nbe maintained by the local law enforcement authority for at least\n\nten (10) years from the date of the completion of the offender’s\n\nsentence.\n\n4. As used in this subsection, “date of the completion of the\n\nsentence” means the day an offender completes the entire term of the\n\nincarceration imposed by the sentence including any term that is\n\ndeferred, suspended or subject to parole.\n\nD. When registering an offender as provided in this section,\n\nthe Department of Corrections or the local law enforcement authority\n\nhaving jurisdiction shall:\n\n1. Inform the offender of the duty to register and obtain the\n\ninformation required for registration as described in this section;\n\n2. Inform the offender that if the offender changes address,\n\nthe offender shall give notice of the move and the new address to\n\nthe Department of Corrections in writing no later than three (3)\n\ndays before the offender establishes residence or is temporarily\n\ndomiciled at the new address;\n\n3. Inform the offender that if the offender changes address to\nr registration as described in this section;\n\n2. Inform the offender that if the offender changes address,\n\nthe offender shall give notice of the move and the new address to\n\nthe Department of Corrections in writing no later than three (3)\n\ndays before the offender establishes residence or is temporarily\n\ndomiciled at the new address;\n\n3. Inform the offender that if the offender changes address to\n\nanother state, the offender shall give notice of the move and shall\n\nregister the new address with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections\n\nand with a designated law enforcement agency in the new state not\n\nlater than ten (10) days before the offender establishes residency\n\nor is temporarily domiciled in the new state, if the new state has a\n\nregistration requirement;\n\n4. Inform the offender that if the offender participates in any\n\nfull-time or part-time employment, in another state, with or without\n\ncompensation for more than fourteen (14) days or an aggregate period\n\nexceeding thirty (30) days in a calendar year, the offender shall\n\nregister as a violent crime offender in that state, if the state has\n\na registration requirement;\n\n5. Inform the offender that if the offender enrolls in any type\n\nof school in another state as a full-time or part-time student, the\n\noffender shall register as a violent crime offender in that state,\n\nif the state has a registration requirement;\n\n6. Inform the offender that if the offender enrolls in any type\n\nof school within this state as a full-time or part-time student, the\n\noffender shall register as a violent crime offender with the\n\nDepartment of Corrections and the local law enforcement authority;\n\n7. Inform the offender that if the offender participates in any\n\nfull-time or part-time employment at any school, with or without\n\ncompensation, or participates in any vocational course or occupation\n\nat any school in this state, the offender shall notify the\n\nDepartment of Corrections and the local law enforcement authority in\n\nwriting of the employment or participation at least three (3) days\n\nbefore commencing or upon terminating such employment or\n\nparticipation;\n\n8. Inform the offender that if the offender graduates,\n\ntransfers, drops, terminates, or otherwise changes enrollment or\n\nemployment at any school in this state, the offender shall notify\n\nthe Department of Corrections and the local law enforcement\n\nauthority in writing of the change in enrollment or employment\n\nwithin three (3) days of the change; and\n\n9.
