The Oklahoma Uniform Transfers to Minors Act applies to a\n\ntransfer that refers to the Oklahoma Uniform Transfers to Minors Act\n\nin the designation provided for in subsection A of Section 10 of\n\nthis act by which the transfer is made if at the time of the\n\ntransfer, the transferor, minor, or custodian is a resident of this\n\nstate or the custodial property is located in this state. The\n\ncustodianship so created remains subject to the provisions of the\n\nOklahoma Uniform Transfers to Minors Act despite a subsequent change\n\nin residence of the transferor, minor, or custodian, or the removal\n\nof custodial property from this state.\n\nB. A person designated as a custodian pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Uniform Transfers to Minors Act is\n\nsubject to personal jurisdiction in this state with respect to any\n\nmatter relating to the custodianship.\n\nC. A transfer that purports to be made and which is valid under\n\nthe Uniform Transfers to Minors Act, the Uniform Gifts to Minors\n\nAct, or a substantially similar act, of another state is governed by\n\nthe law of the designated state and may be executed and is\n\nenforceable in this state if at the time of the transfer, the\n\ntransferor, minor, or custodian is a resident of the designated\n\nstate or the custodial property is located in the designated state.","path":["OK Code","Title 58"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os58.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"cfe9753378a0dd318fb89931306df6b29febf12227592b0bc9e8c0392a91ae93","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-1202","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-1204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
