Stat. tit. 58, § 58-127","heading":"Requisites of petition for administration","body":"Petition for letters of administration must be in writing,\n\nsigned by the applicant or his counsel, and filed with the judge of\n\nthe court stating the facts essential to give the court jurisdiction\n\nof the case, and when known to the applicant, he must state the\n\nnames, ages and residence of the heirs of the decedent, and the\n\nvalue and character of the property.
