Stat. tit. 58, § 58-251","heading":"Powers and duties of executors and administrators","body":"The executor or administrator must take into his possession all\n\nthe estate of the decedent, real and personal, except the homestead\n\nand personal property not assets, and collect all debts due to the\n\ndecedent or to the estate.
