A personal representative shall, unless ordered otherwise by\n\nthe court, make and return to the court an inventory and/or an\n\nappraisement of the estate of the decedent, which has come to his\n\npossession or knowledge, designating the homestead and exempt\n\npersonal property as provided by law, within two (2) months from the\n\ndate of the order of his appointment. The time to file an inventory\n\nand/or appraisement may be extended by the court for good cause\n\nshown.\n\nB. The personal representative may fulfill the appraisement\n\nrequirement by stating his opinion of the value of the estate\n\ndescribed in the inventory.\n\nC. The court must order the inventory and/or an appraisement\n\nupon presentation of a written demand by any heir, devisee, legatee,\n\na creditor having filed a claim, guardian, conservator, guardian ad\n\nlitem, or other person having an interest in the estate. If so\n\nordered, the appraisement shall be made by appraisers appointed,\n\nsworn and acting as provided by Section 282 of Title 58 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 6313.
