In a power of attorney, a principal may nominate a guardian\n\nof the principal's estate or guardian of the principal's person for\n\nconsideration by the court if protective proceedings for the\n\nprincipal's estate or person are begun after the principal executes\n\nthe power of attorney. Except for good cause shown or\n\ndisqualification, the court shall make its appointment in accordance\n\nwith the principal's most recent nomination.\n\nB. If, after a principal executes a power of attorney, a court\n\nappoints a guardian of the principal's estate or other fiduciary\n\ncharged with the management of some or all of the principal's\n\nproperty, the agent is accountable to the fiduciary as well as to\n\nthe principal.
