Stat. tit. 58, § 58-3029","heading":"Stocks and bonds","body":"\n\nUnless the power of attorney otherwise provides, language in a\n\npower of attorney granting general authority with respect to stocks\n\nand bonds authorizes the agent to:\n\n1. Buy, sell and exchange stocks and bonds;\n\n2. Establish, continue, modify or terminate an account with\n\nrespect to stocks and bonds;\n\n3. Pledge stocks and bonds as security to borrow, pay, renew or\n\nextend the time of payment of a debt of the principal;\n\n4. Receive certificates and other evidences of ownership with\n\nrespect to stocks and bonds; and\n\n5.
