In this section, \"estate, trust or other beneficial\n\ninterest\" means a trust, probate estate, guardianship,\n\nconservatorship, escrow or custodianship or a fund from which the\n\nprincipal is, may become, or claims to be, entitled to a share or\n\npayment.\n\nB. Unless the power of attorney otherwise provides, language in\n\na power of attorney granting general authority with respect to\n\nestates, trusts and other beneficial interests authorizes the agent\n\nto:\n\n1. Accept, receive, receipt for, sell, assign, pledge or\n\nexchange a share in or payment from an estate, trust or other\n\nbeneficial interest;\n\n2. Demand or obtain money or another thing of value to which\n\nthe principal is, may become, or claims to be, entitled by reason of\n\nan estate, trust or other beneficial interest, by litigation or\n\notherwise;\n\n3. Exercise for the benefit of the principal a presently\n\nexercisable general power of appointment held by the principal;\n\n4. Initiate, participate in or submit to alternative dispute\n\nresolution, settle, oppose, or propose or accept a compromise with\n\nrespect to litigation to ascertain the meaning, validity or effect\n\nof a deed, will, declaration of trust or other instrument or\n\ntransaction affecting the interest of the principal;\n\n5. Initiate, participate in or submit to alternative dispute\n\nresolution, settle, oppose, or propose or accept a compromise with\n\nrespect to litigation to remove, substitute or surcharge a\n\nfiduciary;\n\n6. Conserve, invest, disburse or use anything received for an\n\nauthorized purpose;\n\n7. Transfer an interest of the principal in real property,\n\nstocks and bonds, accounts with financial institutions or securities\n\nintermediaries, insurance, annuities and other property to the\n\ntrustee of a revocable trust created by the principal as settlor;\n\nand\n\n8.
