Stat. tit. 58, § 58-3041","heading":"Statutory power of attorney form","body":"A document substantially in the following form may be used to\n\ncreate a statutory power of attorney form that has the meaning and\n\neffect prescribed by this act.\n\nOKLAHOMA\n\nSTATUTORY POWER OF ATTORNEY FORM\n\nIMPORTANT INFORMATION\n\nThis power of attorney authorizes another person (your agent) to\n\nmake decisions concerning your property for you (the principal).\n\nYour agent will be able to make decisions and act with respect to\n\nyour property (including your money) whether or not you are able to\n\nact for yourself. The meaning of authority over subjects listed on\n\nthis form is explained in the Uniform Power of Attorney Act, Section\n\n3001 et seq. of Title 58 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nThis power of attorney does not authorize the agent to make health\n\ncare decisions for you.\n\nYou should select someone you trust to serve as your agent. Unless\n\nyou specify otherwise, generally the agent's authority will continue\n\nuntil you die or revoke the power of attorney or the agent resigns\n\nor is unable to act for you.\n\nYour agent is entitled to reasonable compensation unless you state\n\notherwise in the Special Instructions.\n\nThis form provides for designation of one agent. If you wish to\n\nname more than one agent you may name a coagent in the Special\n\nInstructions. AGENT\n\nAgent's Duties\n\nWhen you accept the authority granted under this power of attorney,\n\na special legal relationship is created between you and the\n\nprincipal. This relationship imposes upon you legal duties that\n\ncontinue until you resign or the power of attorney is terminated or\n\nrevoked. You must:\n\n1. Do what you know the principal reasonably expects you to do\n\nwith the principal's property or, if you do not know the\n\nprincipal's expectations, act in the principal's best\n\ninterest;\n\n2. Act in good faith;\n\n3. Do nothing beyond the authority granted in this power of\n\nattorney; and\n\n4. Events that terminate a power of attorney\n\nor your authority to act under a power of attorney include:\n\n1. Death of the principal;\n\n2. The principal's revocation of the power of attorney or your\n\nauthority;\n\n3. The occurrence of a termination event stated in the power of\n\nattorney;\n\n4. The purpose of the power of attorney is fully accomplished;\n\nor\n\n5. If you are married to the principal, a legal action is filed\n\nwith a court to end your marriage, or for your legal\n\nseparation, unless the Special Instructions in this power of\n\nattorney state that such an action will not terminate your\n\nauthority.\n\nLiability of Agent\n\nThe meaning of the authority granted to you is defined in the\n\nUniform Power of Attorney Act, Section 3001 et seq. of Title 58 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes.
