Stat. tit. 58, § 58-335","heading":"Claims paid when not proved and allowed","body":"When it shall appear upon the settlement of the accounts of any\n\npersonal representative that a debt or debts of the deceased have\n\nbeen paid without the presentment of a claim pursuant to Section 334\n\nof this title, and it shall be proven by competent evidence to the\n\nsatisfaction of the district court that each such debt was justly\n\ndue but for the claimant's failure to properly present a claim, was\n\npaid in good faith, that the amount paid was the true amount of each\n\nsuch indebtedness over and above all payments or setoffs, and that\n\nthe estate is solvent, it shall be the duty of the said court to\n\nallow the said sums so paid in the settlement of said accounts, and\n\nthe payment of any such debt shall not constitute a breach of\n\nfiduciary duty or responsibility by the personal representative.","path":["OK Code","Title 58"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os58.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"84344527ec68fc52269c11b46eae2ce5d8d02642fb4c82db43727faacc4c325d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-334","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-336"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
