Stat. tit. 58, § 58-423","heading":"Private sale - Notice of - Bids","body":"When a sale of real property is ordered to be made at private\n\nsale, notice of such sale must be published once each week for two\n\n(2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper in each county in which any\n\npart of the land to be sold is situated, and in the county where the\n\norder is made and by mailing a copy of the notice to all heirs,\n\nlegatees and devises of the decedent whose addresses are known. The\n\nnotice of sale shall describe the real property to be sold with\n\ncommon certainty, and must set a day on or after which the sale will\n\nbe made, and the place where offers or bids will be received. The\n\ndate last referred to must be at least ten (10) days from the first\n\npublication of notice, and the sale must not be made before that\n\nday, but must be made within one (1) year thereafter.
