Stat. tit. 58, § 58-553","heading":"Date of hearing - Notice of final settlement","body":"Every account for the final settlement and petition for\n\ndistribution of an estate shall stand for hearing at a date to be\n\nfixed by the court, not less than twenty (20) days after the filing\n\nthereof; and notice of such hearing shall be given by mailing\n\nwritten or printed copies of the notice of such hearing to the\n\nheirs, legatees and devisees whose addresses are known, and\n\ndeposited in the post office with the postage thereon prepaid, at\n\nleast ten (10) days before the hearing, and said notice of such\n\nhearing shall also be given by publication once each week for two\n\n(2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in the county,\n\nshowing the name of the decedent and of the executor or\n\nadministrator, the date of the hearing, and that such account is for\n\nfinal settlement and distribution: Provided, any number of accounts\n\nmay be included in one notice and the cost of publication thereof\n\ndivided among the estates whose settlements are advertised therein.","path":["OK Code","Title 58"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os58.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"465cea8225db05ffd67d33a2bf86215120539575ce5b38ce0f46cf1bf0a5d0aa","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-552","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-554"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
