Stat. tit. 58, § 58-633","heading":"Delivery of estate to foreign executor or administrator -","body":"Sale of real estate and delivery of proceeds.\n\nUpon application for distribution, after final settlement of the\n\naccounts of administration, if the decedent was a nonresident of\n\nthis state, leaving a will which has been duly proved or allowed in\n\nthe state of his residence, and an authenticated copy thereof has\n\nbeen admitted to probate in this state, or if the decedent died\n\nintestate, and an administrator has been duly appointed and\n\nqualified in the state of his residence, and it is necessary, in\n\norder that the estate, or any part thereof, may be distributed\n\naccording to the will, or if the court is satisfied that it is for\n\nthe best interests of the estate, that the estate in this state\n\nshould be delivered to the executor or administrator in the state or\n\nplace of the decedent's residence, the court may order such delivery\n\nto be made, and, if necessary, order a sale of the real estate, and\n\na like delivery of the proceeds. The delivery, in accordance with\n\nthe order of the court, is a full discharge of the executor or\n\nadministrator with the will annexed or administrator, in this state,\n\nin relation to all property embraced in such order, which, unless\n\nreversed on appeal binds and concludes all parties in interest.\n\nSales of real state, ordered by virtue of this section, must be made\n\nin the same manner as other sales of real estate of decedents by\n\norder of the court.","path":["OK Code","Title 58"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os58.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d9ec3f17c7b86ec178dd3f8b03ff73badfd2079ad0446af95d5ece8d303a23a0","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-632.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-634"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
