Stat. tit. 58, § 58-713","heading":"Proof of death of person in military, naval or maritime","body":"service - Time for distribution.\n\nIn all proceedings brought for the administration of the estate\n\nof any person who dies intestate, or for the probate of the will of\n\nany person who shall die testate, or for the adjudication of the\n\nfact of the death of any life tenant or joint tenant of real estate,\n\nwhere such person shall have been in the military, naval or maritime\n\nservice of the United States at the time of death, the official\n\nnotice of death issued by or received from the United States\n\nGovernment or any department thereof, shall be admissible in\n\nevidence in such proceedings, and shall be prima facie evidence of\n\nthe fact of death.
