Stat. tit. 58, § 58-926","heading":"Sale of lease to highest bidder - Return of sale -","body":"Confirmation and approval by district court.\n\nOn the date and at the place specified in the notice for the\n\nsale of said oil and gas or other mineral lease, said administrator,\n\nexecutor, or guardian shall offer said lease for sale at public\n\nauction and sell the same to the highest bidder for cash, and shall\n\nthereupon file a return of sale showing the land upon which said\n\nlease was sold, the term of years thereof, the name of the\n\npurchaser, and the amount for which the same was sold, and attach to\n\nthe return a copy of the form of lease proposed to be executed,\n\nwhich return shall thereupon, without further notice, be heard by\n\nthe district court, and if the court finds that said sale was\n\nproperly conducted as herein provided, and that the price bid for\n\nsaid lease was not disproportionate to the value thereof, said sale\n\nshall be confirmed and said administrator, executor or guardian\n\nauthorized and directed to execute and deliver said lease, and when\n\nsaid lease is executed the judge of the district court shall endorse\n\nhis approval thereon.","path":["OK Code","Title 58"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os58.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9421d8da80f5346c264206ba090b760e26d0328c27bbf71a9e32795e81a6cb83","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-925","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-58-58-927"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
