Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1009","heading":"Duration of licenses - Expiration date - Renewals","body":"No license shall be issued for longer than one (1) year and all\n\nlicenses shall expire on the last day in the birth month of the\n\nlicensee. Such licenses may be renewed upon application and payment\n\nof fees within thirty (30) days preceding or following the date the\n\nlicense renewal is due. No journeyman or contractor license shall\n\nbe renewed unless the licensee has completed the required hours of\n\ncontinuing education as determined and approved by the Committee.\n\nThe Committee may renew licenses upon application made more than\n\nthirty (30) days following the date of expiration only upon payment\n\nof the renewal and additional fee prescribed and upon compliance\n\nwith any applicable continuing education requirements as established\n\nby the Board and this act.
