Any roofing contractor registration certificate issued under\n\nthe Roofing Contractor Registration Act may be renewed for each\n\nsuccessive year by obtaining from the registrar a certificate of\n\nrenewal. To obtain a certificate of renewal, the qualifying party\n\nshall file with the registrar a renewal application by the last day\n\nof the birth month of the qualifying party each successive year,\n\nprovide any qualifying party information required under the Roofing\n\nContractor Registration Act, Section 1151.5, not previously provided\n\nby the applicant, if any, and pay the renewal fee. The application\n\nfor renewal shall require statements under oath that the qualifying\n\nparty and legal entity have properly submitted income and employment\n\ntaxes due in this state; whether or not the qualifying party has\n\nbeen adjudicated by a court of competent jurisdiction for any\n\nviolation of the Roofing Contractor Registration Act or any act or\n\nomission specified in subsection A of Section 1151.14 of this title.\n\nThe registrar may forward a copy of any information in an\n\napplication for renewal to the Oklahoma Tax Commission and any other\n\nstate agency.\n\nB. The qualifying party shall include with the renewal\n\napplication a copy of the certificate of liability insurance, unless\n\nthe registrar has a current valid certificate of insurance on file,\n\nproof of workers' compensation coverage, unless exempt under the\n\nWorkers' Compensation Act, and, if applicable, a copy of the current\n\nregistration certificate required by law for roofing contractors.\n\nThe renewal application shall be notarized.\n\nC. The registrar shall refuse to renew a roofing contractor's\n\nregistration certificate for any reason stated in subsection B of\n\nSection 1151.5 of this title or for failing to provide any\n\nqualifying party information required under the Roofing Contractor\n\nRegistration Act not previously provided by the applicant. The\n\nregistrar shall notify the applicant in writing if the registrar\n\ndenies the renewal as provided in subsection C of Section 1151.5 of\n\nthis title.\n\nD. If any roofing contractor fails to file a renewal\n\napplication by the deadline of the last day of the birth month of\n\nthe qualifying party, that contractor's registration shall be not in\n\ngood standing. A roofing contractor has a thirty-day grace period\n\nafter the last day of the birth month of the qualifying party to\n\nrenew the registration certificate without a late fee. The late fee\n\nshall be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). A roofing contractor\n\nregistration certificate not renewed within sixty (60) days of the\n\nlast day of the birth month of the qualifying party shall be\n\nsuspended for failure to renew, and if a roofing contractor's\n\nregistration certificate still has not been renewed within six (6)\n\nmonths of expiration, it shall be revoked for failure to renew.\n\nE. 1. A roofing contractor desiring to renew a registration\n\ncertificate that has been suspended for any cause provided in this\n\nact shall be assessed a fee equal to twice the amount of the fee\n\nestablished by subsection D of Section 1151.8 of this title.\n\n2. The registrar shall assess a reinstatement fee not exceeding\n\nThree Hundred Dollars ($300.00) to be set by the registrar plus the\n\nfee established by Section 1151.8 of this title for any registration\n\nthat has been revoked for any cause provided in the Roofing\n\nContractor Registration Act.\n\n3. A roofing contractor submitting an application for\n\nregistration after suspension or revocation of that contractor's\n\nregistration certificate must be otherwise eligible for registration\n\nunder the Roofing Contractor Registration Act.\n\nF. The registrar shall include a registration status notation\n\nin a roofing contractor's record if the status of registration\n\nchanges from an active and valid registration to not in good\nbmitting an application for\n\nregistration after suspension or revocation of that contractor's\n\nregistration certificate must be otherwise eligible for registration\n\nunder the Roofing Contractor Registration Act.\n\nF.
